The PEHT001 starter set provides the ideal entry point for reliable object detection on conveyor belts. The scope of delivery includes two light curtains, one connection module, one end cap, and one sensor connection module – all components required for immediate commissioning.
The modular system can be flexibly expanded as required: Up to 15 light curtains can be interconnected, covering detection widths from 270 to 4,000 mm with up to 135 switching points. Individual beam evaluation via IO-Link enables the position and size of objects to be determined. For use in more demanding environments, an optional ZPTG005 protective cover is available, which increases the degree of protection from IP50 to IP54 and additionally protects the light curtains from dust and splashing water.
