AI-Powered Topping Check of Frozen Pizzas with Smart Cameras
In food production, salami slices are added to frozen pizzas in a fully automated process. A B60 smart camera then checks each individual pizza for the correct number of slices. A trained neural network reliably recognizes and counts the salami slices, even when they overlap and on wrapped pizzas. Pizzas with too few slices are automatically rejected and the missing slices manually added. This ensures that every pizza meets quality specifications and ensures consistently high product quality.
