Presence Check on Different Colored Trays via Retro-Reflex Sensors
In order to ensure a continuous flow of material in packaging plants, trays of different colors must be detected reliably and independently of color between the individual work steps at several points on the conveyor belt. Retro-reflex sensors with laser light are used for this purpose, which reliably check the presence of the shells through a narrow opening in the side panel.
Universal Retro-Reflex Sensors
Universal retro-reflex sensors are suitable for the detection of glossy, chrome-plated or reflective surfaces thanks to the polarization filter. They work with red light or laser light. Objects are detected by interrupting the light beam between the sensor and the reflector.
