Scanning Direction

The scanning direction indicates in which direction a barcode must be read. The standard direction is from left to right. However, some barcodes can be read in both directions. Laser scanners (laser scanner) recognise this characteristic automatically, for example with the help of start and stop characters (start character, stop character).
