Reading Directly Marked DataMatrix Codes on PCBs with 1D/2D Handheld Scanner

In the electronics industry, PCBs must be manually reworked and identified. Each successfully completed work step is confirmed with a scan. The directly marked lasered DataMatrix codes provide little contrast to the green background with their copper coloring. The handheld scanners capture the difficult to read codes quickly and reliably from all angles and emit a visual, acoustic and haptic signal to the user. The wireless connection of the scanner via Bluetooth also ensures flexible and ergonomic use.

1D/2D Handheld Scanners

Handheld scanners read all 1D/2D codes omnidirectionally, regardless of location and background. Decoding is indicated by vibration, acoustic or visual signals. The adjustment option between the near and far range accelerates the scan rate or increases the detection range. In addition to wired scanners, Bluetooth scanners are also available.
