ROYGBV Color Space
ROYGBV color space is a selected spectrum for which the filters are set up such that their limit ranges overlap, thus ensuring that there are nearly no gaps at all within the defined color spectrum.
Figure legend:
1 = Spectral sensitivity [A/W]
2 = Wavelength [nm]
690 nm – Red (R)
640 nm – Orange (O)
570 nm – Yellow (Y)
520 nm – Green (G)
470 nm – Blue (B)
430 nm – Violet (V)
When using color sensors with ROYGBV color space, the spectrum of the sample is read out as the measurement result, thus permitting finely graduated color recognition.
