Presence Check of Goods Carriers in Curing Ovens via Inductive Sensors for Extreme Temperature Ranges

After the extrusion process, aluminum profiles must be cured for several hours in furnaces at extreme temperatures of about 200 ºC. Before a product carrier is moved into the hot chamber, it is important to ensure that it is empty. In order to detect the presence of the product carriers even at high temperatures, inductive sensors for extreme temperature ranges are installed in the furnace. The robust and durable sensors are aligned laterally to the feet of the carrier system. An intuitive push-pull connector enables easy replacement of the sensor head without complex cabling.

Inductive Sensors for Extreme Temperature Ranges

These inductive sensors detect contactlessly metallic objects in extreme temperature ranges. With increased switching distances and a very robust design, the sensors are designed for a long service life of several years.
