Which Series suits your application?
Four Series, One Goal: Reliable Results in Industrial Image Processing
The video shows how much flexibility is in a common product family. The bar lights Basic combine high brightness with even light distribution and thus create optimal conditions for a wide range of image processing tasks. With the optional ZBAG angle changers, the illumination of the visual field can also be designed flexibly and in a controlled manner.

Angle Changer for Variable Beam Angles
Angle changers are special diffusers that can be mounted directly on bar lights. They increase the beam angle, diffuse the light and thus contribute to more homogeneous illumination of the visual field.
High flexibility: Angle changers enable different working distances and applications in industrial image processing.
Quick feasibility check for new projects: Angle changers make it quick and easy to find the right lighting solution.
Protected IP65 design integrity: The beam angle can be adjusted without disassembling the product.

With Polarizing Filter
Compensate for Differences in Brightness with the Curve Effect
The patented curve effect ensures particularly homogeneous light distribution over large visual fields and is ideal for applications such as pick and place. It is created by varying light intensity along the bar light through the use of angle changers, which specifically reduce the light in the center of the projected illumination.
Which advantages does the curve effect offer?
- Improved test results due to reduced intensity peaks
- Optimal ratio between light output and homogeneity
- Create large visual fields with smaller illuminations
Versatile Illumination Methods
With brightfield illumination, the test object is illuminated directly from above. Smooth or reflective surfaces reflect light back to the camera, making it appear bright in the image. This makes colors, contrasts and surface structures easy to recognize.
As low angle light, a bar light is used at a very low angle to the surface. This means that edges, structures or elevations in particular reflect the light to the camera, while smooth surfaces are barely visible.
If the bar light is positioned at a flat angle to the surface, edges and structures are strongly highlighted. Smooth surfaces hardly reflect light to the camera at all, and therefore appear significantly darker.
Dome effect
Within a box, bar lights can be used to create a dome effect. Angle changers with a beam angle of ± 17° direct the light to the ceiling of the box, which ideally consists of a white, matt surface. The reflected light provides homogeneous illumination and is particularly suitable for illuminating complex surfaces.
