Housing material

The housing material indicates the exact composition of materials used for the housing of a sensor. Metal housings: nickel plated brass, stainless steel, material reference number 1.4305 Plastic housings: PBT, ABS All inductive sensors (inductive sensor) are encapsulated in casting resin. This material demonstrates a degree of chemical resistance which is comparable to that of the utilized housing materials. Suitability of all housing materials must be tested prior to use in applications in which devices are subjected to frequent or continuous exposure to chemicals.
