Frequency is a physical term that describes the processes repeated or the number of oscillations per a unit of time. The frequency indicates the number of any kind of repeated processes per second in hertz (abbreviation: Hz). A higher frequency means that the oscillations or waves repeat more often in a given period of time, and a lower frequency means fewer repetitions.
