EAN13

EAN13 is a numeric code including characters 0 through 9. The symbol configuration of the EAN13 is cut into two halves, each of the halves contains six characters. A guard bar is arranged between them. Each character consists of eleven elements. All bars and spaces (space) contain information. Only 13 characters can be represented together at once. EAN13 has been named after the maximum number of characters that can be represented.
