Conformance Class

Conformance class describes the minimum requirements for the scope of functions of a PROFINET product. The conformance class is part of product certification and is important for system operators in order to assure that all components are capable of seamless interaction.

A distinction is made between conformance classes CC-A, CC-B and CC-C.
