Uniform format
One Format for Many Applications
Standardized mounting points and hole patterns as well as a consistent design concept reduce design effort and simplify product data management.
Standardized functional principles
Common Platform for Different Technologies
Different functional principles in the same format enable intuitive, technology-independent operation and reduce documentation and training requirements.
Consistent interface
IO-Link 1.1 Across All Sensors
Identical diagnosis and adjustment options as well as specific functions ensure simple parameterization and visualization via the wTeach2 software.
The 1K format combines different sensor technologies on a common platform. Uniform mechanical interfaces – such as housing dimensions, fastening points and connection position – enable the unique definition of an installation space that can be used for various detection tasks. Depending on the application, only the appropriate functional principle is selected within the platform.
For Engineering h3>
Standardized format with a wide variety of variants: one installation space for different functions
Reduced variety in the parts library: reduced maintenance effort in CAD and PDM systems
Consistent installation space: facilitates series and variant design
For Maintenance and Operation h3>
Fast sensor replacement: no mechanical adjustments required
Uniform format: highly recognizable across the entire machine fleet
Consistent labeling, documentation and operating concepts: reduced operating errors
For Purchasing and Project Management h3>
Reduced supplier and part number variety: simplified procurement
Platform-based portfolio: economical solution over the entire life cycle
Scalable solutions: from standard solution to special application with reduced project risk
