EAN8

EAN8 is a numeric code including characters 0 through 9. The symbol configuration of the EAN8 is cut into two halves, each of the halves contains four characters. A guard bar is arranged between them. All bars and spaces (space) contain information. Only 8 characters can be represented together at once. EAN8 has been named after the maximum number of characters that can be represented.
