Incorrect Read

Incorrect read, also called No Read, indicates that the deciphered characters do not correspond to the actual barcode, which means that the object bearing the incorrectly interpreted barcode has been improperly identified. Incorrect barcode reading rates can be significantly reduced through the use of check digits (check digit). There are a variety of causes for reading errors: deficiencies in barcode printing, unfavourable light conditions during scanning, incorrect scanning range or contaminated barcode labels.
