Flow Monitoring in Liquid Cooling Systems with Flow Sensors
To prevent outages and overheating at an early stage, reliable water cooling must be ensured in data centers. The cooling system consists of two circuits: In the primary circuit, the heated coolant is directed from the data center to external cooling units to cool them. The cooled liquid is then returned to the servers in the secondary circuit. Flow and pressure sensors are installed in the piping in both circuits. These monitor the flow, water temperature and water pressure continuously and precisely.
Flow Sensors
Flow sensors operate according to the calorimetric principle and can be mounted independently of the current direction. weFlux² series models combine flow and temperature measurement; parameter setting or data transfer can be carried out via IO-Link.
