Distributed System

A distributed system is a system for automated performance of identification tasks. Various scanners execute the individual identification tasks. Distributed systems are typically used in assembly processes. System data are combined, and are then forwarded to the master controller. Scanner 1 identifies components for distribution to the correct assembly station. Scanner 2 inspects the barcode of the finished products which will be shipped to the end-user. Scanner 3 is used to monitor the package labelling process.
