Auto adjust for exposure and gain h3>
All parameters relevant to image capture are automatically determined and optimally matched to the scene to achieve the best possible result.
Easy view or Expert view h3>
Presets allow for quick entry, while the “Expert View” provides access to all recording parameters.
Three views, one frame h3>
For a complete evaluation of each recording, the 3D point cloud, intensity image and confidence image are displayed synchronously in the same window.
Saving Parameters and Point Clouds h3>
Configurations can be exported, imported and saved as favorites. The current point cloud can be saved in PLY format with one click.
Easy Initial Startup of the Machine Vision Sensor h2>
Step 1: Connecting the machine vision sensor
The machine vision sensor and the PC are connected with an Ethernet cable.
Step 2: Connecting the machine vision sensor in the wenglor Vision Viewer
Search for data sources in the wenglor Vision Viewer, adjust the network settings and add the machine vision sensor.
Step 3: Start live view
Use “View” to view the 3D point cloud as well as the intensity and confidence image and optimize if necessary.
Automatic Sensor Detection in the Network h2>
The network automatically detects connected machine vision sensors and displays the model name, IP address and connection status. In addition, the live view of the device can be opened directly.
Two Views for Sensor Configuration h2>
The “Easy View” shows the most important parameters for the basic setting of the machine vision sensor and thus enables quick and uncomplicated entry. For detailed configuration, the “Expert View” provides access to all recording parameters.
Integrated Filters for 3D Point Clouds h2>
Various filters are available in the wenglor Vision Viewer, which are set in the software and executed directly on the device. This means that the 3D point cloud is prepared before it is transferred without the need for additional computing power on the PC. Each filter can be activated and parameterized individually.
Three Views for Comprehensive Evaluation
3D Point Cloud h3>
The colored 3D point cloud represents the depth values spatially. The color gradient ranges from red for the near range to violet for the far range. The view can be rotated and zoomed freely. A top view compass and a scale make orientation easier.
Intensity Image h3>
The intensity image represents the strength of the received light signal as a grayscale image. Light areas indicate light, dark areas indicate dark surfaces. The live histogram shows the pixel brightness distribution within the value range.
Confidence Image h3>
The confidence image shows the measurement reliability of each measuring point. Light areas indicate a high, dark areas a low confidence value. For each selected measurement point, the x-, y- and z-coordinates as well as the respective confidence value can be displayed.
