Thanks to their particularly compact design, miniature fiber-optic cables are ideal for applications with limited space, as they can easily be inserted into narrow holes or narrow gaps. They enable precise detection of small objects and fine differences, even in hard-to-reach or concealed areas.

Coaxial Fiber Arrangement for Precise Detection

The reflection type with coaxial fiber arrangement enables highly precise object detection regardless of the orientation of the fiber-optic cable. Unlike standard versions with emitting and receiving fibers at the side, these fiber-optic cables have a central core (emitter) that is completely surrounded by fine receiving fibers.
