Fill-Level Measurement in Meat Mincers with Laser Distance Sensors Time of Flight
In the food industry, the fill-level in meat mincers must be reliably measured despite changing products, humidity and cleaning. A laser distance sensor time of flight in the stainless steel housing is installed vertically above the hopper and measures the fill-level during feeding without contact. In this way, it ensures a continuous material supply, avoids empty runs and dry running of the mincer and ensures even utilization of the plant. Thanks to IP69K degree of protection and hygienic housing design, the sensor can withstand high-pressure and foam cleaning without loss of function.
Laser Distance Sensors Time of Flight
Laser distance sensors Time-of-Flight (ToF) work according to the principle of transit time measurement, which means that they cover large working ranges up to 10,000 mm, so that objects can be reliably detected even at great distances. The ToF sensors are extremely robust against interfering ambient light, which ensures reliable operation.
