At the beginning of 2011, southern German family-run company wenglor was the first sensor manufacturer to succeed in integrating Ethernet technology, which in the meantime is very widespread, into its sensors. The company’s current new product in the field of ID technology is an Ethernet-compatible CCD Scanner which reliably recognizes barcodes at distances of up to 320 mm.

With a new technology known as “WinTec”, wenglor’s OY2P303A0135 Transit Time Sensor was the basis of the southern German sensor specialists’ most successful market launch to date. The company is now presenting a further WinTec solution as a Transit Time Sensor for measuring tasks which is capable of mastering difficult optical detection tasks.
