Wooden Panel Detection before Sawing Processes via Reflex Sensors with Background Suppression
In the wood industry, wooden panels with different colors, shapes and surfaces are transported from one processing step to the next via chain conveyors. Several reflex sensors with background suppression mounted above the conveyor line ensure the presence of the panels. Due to the large detection range and the rectangular light spot, the sensor detects the object reliably even with varying surfaces, contrasts and structural changes such as moisture or perforations. Due to its insensitivity to dirt, the sensor is ideally suited for demanding industrial environments.
Reflex Sensors With Background Suppression
Reflex sensors with background suppression detect and measure objects contactlessly and detect them in front of any defined background. They work with red light, infrared light, blue light or laser light. Thanks to the principle of angle measurement, the color, shape and object surface have no influence on the switching behavior of the sensors.
