GMP

GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice. It is a collection of guidelines for assuring the quality of production sequences and the production environment for manufacturing drugs, food and fodder. Quality assurance plays a central role in pharmaceuticals manufacturing, because deviations from specified quality characteristics may have direct effects on the health of the consumer. A GMP compliant quality management system assures product quality and fulfills requirements stipulated by the health authorities which are binding for product marketing.
