Conveyor Speed Control of a Drive Shaft with Miniature Inductive Sensor
In the packaging industry, pre-packaged products are transported via chain conveyor systems. The drive force is transmitted from a shaft to a chain via a pinion. A miniature inductive sensor checks the rotation speed in close range and in confined spaces through alignment with two holes in the chain wheel and fine adjustment. The holes are detected and a switching signal is output to the control unit. The signal is used to check the speed of the chain conveyor and ensure constant forward drive.
Inductive Sensors with Increased Switching Distances
Inductive sensors with increased switching distances offer up to three times the switching distances compared to standard inductive sensors. The integrated weproTec technology ensures fault-free operation of several sensors that are operated directly next to one another.
