Sensors for Liquids and Gases

The large range of fluid sensors provides you with high-performance pressure, temperature, flow and fill-level sensors for use in systems and machines. The sensors are designed on the basis of a modular platform in order to match them to customer-specific requirements.

Process Monitoring for Full Transparency

Continuous monitoring and analysis of production processes are required in order to assure top product quality. Fluid sensors acquire all relevant process values in real-time and detect even the smallest deviations, so that you can respond quickly to changing conditions. Make your processes transparent and use this valuable information in order to optimize sequences and conserve resources. This results in increased efficiency and productivity, and secures your competitive advantage.

The graphic shows examples of process monitoring tasks which are executed by sensors – for reliable and stable processes.

Fluid sensors: weFlux communication

Smart Communication with IO-Link Sensors

wenglor fluid sensors are already plunging into digital processes today. And they use the most up-to-date communication standard via IO-Link. IO-Link sensors communicate with all common control systems via the manufacturer-independent interface and can thus be easily integrated into existing networks. You profit in many ways:

  • Simplified operation
  • Faster initial start-up
  • Increased system availability
  • Reduced maintenance costs

Simplified Operation

wenglor’s free wTeach2 software permits simple setup of fluid sensors with IO-Link. The switching points can also be adjusted in diagrams with just a single click in a clear-cut, user-friendly manner.

Faster Initial Start-Up

The settings of the sensors are stored in the control system and are automatically transferred from there to other sensors – set up once, duplicate as often as required.

Process Optimization

Fluid sensors with IO-Link generate and transmit additional diagnostics and status data for condition monitoring. These data can be analyzed by wTeach2 software in order to make information available for requirements-oriented maintenance, and to avoid downtime.

Plug & Play with Data Storage

If a sensor is replaced, stored settings are transferred automatically to the new sensor making replacement possible without initial programming.
