Detection of Small QR Codes on High-Gloss Electronic Components with 1D/2D Code Scanners
Electronic components such as Piezo transducers must be recorded and assigned in production processes. Each component has laser or printed QR codes, which are often barely larger than one millimeter. These high-gloss and reflective objects must also be detected in very short cycle times. 1D/2D code scanners mounted above the conveyor line reliably detect the small codes thanks to their high resolution. Reflections can be hidden by diffuser and polarizing filter lenses.
