Completeness Check of Tubes with the Smart Camera and AI
Tubes are packed fully automatically in cartons and shipped to customers for further filling of their products. The weight control used in outgoing goods control does not always provide reliable results due to the low weight of the tubes. To combat this, a smart camera is installed above the conveyor to capture each box before shipping. Using AI and deep learning technology, the camera analyzes the contents of the boxes and automatically counts the tubes contained. This prevents missing quantities and increases process reliability in quality control.
