Check of Best Before Date on Food Packaging with B60 Smart Camera
In the food and packaging industry, the use by date labels on food must be reliably verified. Batches without this information are rejected, which is extremely costly. To check the best before date label, a B60 smart camera with dome light 90° is mounted above the conveyor line perpendicular to the packaging. It checks whether the correct best before date is present with the OCR module at belt speeds of more than one meter per second. The position of the label can vary slightly.
