Material Flow Monitoring in the Infeed Area Using Light Curtains
In the infeed area of intralogistics systems, containers or cartons are fed, checked and transferred to subsequent conveyor lines in accordance with their position. Light curtains monitor the presence and position of the conveyed goods. The sensors detect the conveyed goods from bottom to top and can therefore be integrated without additional mounting or protective frames. This reduces installation space and assembly effort and supports a reliable, collision-free material flow.
