EXPO PACK México 2013 will take place in Centro Banamex in Mexico City from 18th to 21th June. The largest tradeshow for packaging and processing solutions and technology in Latin America will showcase the latest solutions in packaging and processing machinery, materials, containers, and other related goods and services. wenglor will present its latest products in the field of sensors, identification and security technology there (booth 302).
With their new junction, wenglor sensoric gmbh is one of the first manufacturers to succeed in combining the EtherCAT protocol with the Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. The all-in-one device provides both signal routing and power supply and thus reduces cabling and installation expenses. Depending on the model, up to seven EtherCAT products can be connected with the robust IP67-rated EtherCAT junctions and two additional I/O ports are available.
Sensor manufacturer wenglor sensoric from the southern German town of Tettnang hosted the “2013 Spring European EtherCAT Plug Celebration” on the 14th and 15th of May, 2013. The two-day workshop was once again promoted by the EtherCAT Technology Group user organization. The event focused on the testing of devices which are connected to each other via the EtherCAT communication protocol which is used by industry.
