Inductive Selective Switches for Non-Ferrous Magnets

Inductive Selective Switches

The Inductive Selective Switches can differ ferrous-magnetic metals (e.g. iron, steel) from non-ferrous-magnetic metals (aluminium, brass, copper and stainless steel). Metals influence the LC-oscillator below the active surface of the Selective Switch trough their specific electromagnetic characteristics and thus can be differd.

Applications
  • Applied in can deposit automats
  • Differ between work pieces made of different materials
  • Differ between work piece and tool
Non-Ferrous Magnets

Non-Ferrous magnets, for example Aluminium, brass, copper and different Stainless Steels couldn't be magnetized. Selective Switches for Non-Ferrous Magnets switch as soon as a metal with this characteristic is within the Switching Distance.

Switching Distance

The wenglor Selective Switches feature a high Switching Distance. Thanks to the large distance between sensor and object mechanical damages are avoided. High demands at production tolerances can be mastered effortlessly, objects with different shapes can be detected easily.
