Scanner 1D / 2D Code

Scanner 1D / 2D Code

These Scanners detect 1D and 2D codes with Red Light. The light sent out to the code is reflected back to a CMOS chip and evaluated with a decoder. The light sensitive cells of the chip are illuminated differently and a copy of the code is generated. This copy is evaluated by the decoder electronically.

Applications
  • Identification of products during and after production by means of 1D or 2D codes
  • Automated picking of semi-finished goods
  • Identification of samples at automized distribution systems in medical or chemical areas
  • Printing control: Check of 2D codes labels on completeness and quality of the information
Features

The handheld scanner can be aligned easily with the code by a laser pointer. A good readout is indicated through vibration, acoustic signal or blinking of the function indication. The choice between near field and far field reduces the scanning time of the Handheld Scanner.

1D/2D Code Handheld Scanner with Bluetooth Interface

If the Handheld Scanner is outside the reception area of the Bluetooth modem, the scanned data is buffered on the handheld scanner. As soon as the scanner is inside the reception area again, the data is transmitted automatically.

Interface

The scanner can be configured via an RS-232 or USB interface. Via a wireless Bluetooth interface, USB, RS-232 or PS/2 the code data can be transmitted to a master controller.

Setup

The Scanner can be configured with a PC, or a comparable programming device. The Scanner can also be configured without the PC via so-called configuration codes.

Network Options

5 Handheld Scanners can transmit their data simultaneously wireless to a Bluetooth modem.

Connection Possibilities

The Scanners can be interconnected via Daisy Chain or Multidrop. A crosslinking to Bus systems is possible via a separate Gateway (e. g. Profibus or Profinet).
